Friday 22nd September to Sunday 24th September 2006 from 12:00pm Friday to 3.00pm Sunday

Venue

The venue is on an island one hour north of Sydney. Details of the exact location are available upon registration. Keep in mind attendees will not have access to the mainland during the weekend. Please bring everything that you will need as access to the island is by chartered ferry only.

Accommodation

You have a choice of:
  • Lodge style rooms sleeping four (two bunks). These are shared.
  • Camping
  • Private self-contained villas sleeping seven (These are now booked out)
Don't forget to bring: Pillow cases, sleeping bag or sheets. Pillows and doonas are provided for lodge or villa accommodations only.

Transport

A return ferry ticket is included in your registration fee. The mainland wharf has parking and is 30 meters from the train station.

Shops

The mainland ferry wharf has several take-away food shops, a general store and a bottle shop. Pick up what you need before boarding the ferry as attendees will not have access to the mainland during the weekend.

Catering

This event is fully catered by venue staff and vegetarian options are available. Other special dietary requirements can also be catered for. See the medical form in the registration pack for more details.

Facilities

The site has an olympic sized pool and an archery range as well as indoor workshop rooms and covered outdoor spaces. We will also have access to a recreation room and a craft room.

Workshops

All workshops, lectures and entertainment are included in the registration fee. Conference papers containing workshop notes will be mailed to all participants after the event.

Rituals

The Main Ritual will be held in celebration of the Spring Equinox.

Market

There will be a market on Sunday. If you wish to have a stall, please organise to donate one item of reasonable value to the raffle. AWC T-shirts will be for sale throughout the gathering.

Moot

There will be a moot and de-brief on Sunday afternoon before departure.
