Topic: That insular practice is outdated? - Updated

This debate will look at the differences and rationales of closed group work vs open group work as well as the roles of both in the future of wicca and witchcraft. Structuring a learning group and lesson plan

If you are going to teach new practioners, it is always a good idea to have a plan. This workshop will examine how to go about creating lesson plans and break down the learning cycle. These plans can be applied to both covens and teaching or working groups as long as we understand the different needs of these groups. Many covens end up teaching in an ad hoc manner, so how do you turn your B.O.S into a curriculum? Presented by: Gabby Cleary

Our paths are ever changing and ever growing. Sacred words do not always have to come from a tradition's B.O.S. They can be written for specific rituals or themes. This workshop will examine the use of sacred poetry and how to adapt or write from scratch, pieces that will work in participant's rituals. An Underworld Journey - Updated

The workshop will begin with a general review of underworld myths from different parts of the Western world, and will consider some of the underlying meaning of these. Bob Stewart's concepts of the Underworld will be presented. This will be followed by some experiences in working with them as part of a magical tradition. The practical part of the workshop will start with a couple of basic exercises that can be done regularly. In conclusion, a simple pathworking of a journey to the Underworld will be available for those who wish to undertake it. Presented by: Anna

A-Musing: Acting for Ritual - Updated

Do you have trouble performing in ritual? Is your voice over powered by the sound of grass growing when you invoke? Sick and tired of having to squint by the light of the lamps of art to read your lines in ritual? If you answered yes to one or more of these question (or even if you didn’t) then this workshop is for you. Presented by an experienced Thespian this workshop will equip you with some of the basic skills of acting which will advance your ritual performance and make it both a joy to watch and participate in!

No acting experience is necessary, you will learn simple techniques which will advance your ability to perform in ritual in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Gain insights and ideas on how to memorise and perform your lines. Find out how to empower and project your voice. This workshop will give you the opportunity to broaden your skill of the use of props and costumes in ritual to gain maximum effect without breaking the flow of the ritual itself.

Some more advanced character work may be entered into on the day depending on the size of the class. This workshop is relevant to both public and private ritual and is perfect for the beginner or advanced Witch, Pagan or …………..(insert your label here).. Presented by: Madame K
